Hi Fuse fans!
Exciting news today as I introduce my newest client, the SF/F author and poet Rose Lemberg.
Rose is a brilliant talent on the rise whose work unites the high-flying thrills of great commercial fantasy fiction with a literary, erudite sensibility steeped in linguistics and gender theory. I’m very excited to represent Rose’s first novel, which is set in the ‘Birdverse’ fantasy world where previous successful short stories and novelettes have taken place.
The Birdverse novelette “Grandmother-nai-Leylit’s Cloth of Winds”, of particular note, was nominated for the Nebula Award in 2016, and made the Hugo and Tiptree longlists. Rose’s poetry has been nominated for the Rhysling Award every year since their debut as a published poet.
I’m proud to represent such quality and cutting-edge work, and also thrilled to represent an author who does so much every day to raise awareness on transgender and autistic issues from an #ownvoices perspective. These are two topics that are finally seeing broader public conversation, and are both so critical as we move forward societally.
You can read more about Rose at their website.
