The largest annual gathering of the tribes of publishing occurs this week in New York. Book Expo America offers an educational program along with a huge amalgamation of trade show booths for everyone from gigantic Penguin Random House to tiny non-profit writing conferences (I’m looking at you, San Francisco Writers Conference!) Fuse Literary uses it as a time to meet with editors and publishers, network with colleagues, go to parties (natch), and take the pulse of the industry. We also gather a lot of free ARCs and books. Yay books!

Fuse Literary will have four of its agents there: Connor Goldsmith, Emily Keyes, Michelle Richter, and the newest member of Team Fuse, Jennifer Chen Tran. Our client Nina Amir will also be participating in uPublishU and the Book Blogger festival where Writers Digest Books will be giving away her books, How to Blog a Book and The Author Training Manual. Follow all their exploits on Twitter and see what they have to say about the show.

P.S. — If you’re pitching agents, you might find their replies a bit slow this week.
