James Acker

James Acker grew up in New Jersey, and he’s based his entire personality off that fact. He received his Bachelor’s in Screenwriting & Playwriting from Drexel University, an engineering school, and uses it in the following ways. His YA novels The Last Run and Teenage Dirtbags are published by HarperCollins. Also, he got a joke in Nickelodeon Magazine back in ‘03.

James is excited to continue writing young adult stories with confident queer voices. Like a bisexual John Hughes. When he’s not writing, James lives in Los Angeles with his wonderfully supportive partner and his two recurring stress dreams.
