Dustin Resch

Dustin Resch is an illustrator and author with a BA in Animation from the Art Institute of Colorado, and a MFA in Children’s Book Illustration from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.  He is active as a member and volunteer with the Rocky Mountain Chapter of SCBWI.

He is a giant nerd with a passion for learning a little bit of everything, as reflected in his many auditions for Jeopardy and dozens of appearances on various trivia podcasts and competitions. He has been a primarily digital illustrator since drawing on computers was invented, although now he is trying to pioneer a new technology of drawing on slabs of plastic while scuba diving.

Favorite subject matter includes sea creatures, animals of all kinds, robots, scientists, aliens and underdogs. Dustin lives in the Denver area with his wife Stephanie Brooke and a couple of ridiculous dogs.
