Aamna Qureshi grew up on Long Island, New York and has always loved words — talking, reading, writing, and she’s glad to have made a career out of words as a children’s book author. She aspires to reclaim the narrative of Muslims, Pakistanis, and brown women in her books. When she’s not writing, she loves traveling to Pakistan to visit family or to new places where she can explore different cultures. She also loves baking complicated desserts and drinking fancy teas and coffees. If not doing any of the above, you can find her reading, watching sappy rom-coms, or going for walks about the estate (her backyard).
