Abby Rose believes that fiction can be advocacy. She utilizes her personal experience with mental illness to tell stories steeped in humor, lightheartedness, and a dash of magic.
She has her bachelor’s from Loyola University Chicago in Classical Civilization and her Master’s in Arts Leadership and Cultural Management from Colorado State University. As an art historian, her work in folk art curation can be found in museums in Northern Colorado.
She enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and traveling the world, however the latter two do not mean she isn’t terrified of heights or planes. Finally, she, her husband, and their cat all speak fluent meow.
