Jennifer de Guzman
Jennifer de Guzman writes novels about sad songs, smart girls, and silly boys.
She’s been a tech industry worker bee, a library clerk, a speculative fiction journal editor, an exhausted grad student, editor-in-chief at an indie comics company, director of PR and marketing at a larger indie comics company, a freelance pop culture writer, and a graphic novel reviewer — but all the while she was writing stories. Some of them have appeared in Strange Horizons, The Colorado Review, and the comics anthologies Womanthology: Space and Insider Art.
A San Francisco Bay Area native, Jennifer is committed to fiction that reflects the diversity of the Bay and her family heritage. She shares her East Bay space with her husband, son and daughter, two cats, and a bearded dragon.
