Kiana (Kiki) Nguyen is a novelist, screenwriter, and literary agent whose love for storytelling leads her to creating her own worlds when the clock strikes midnight. A dramatically angsty queer teenager with a codependent relationship with Tumblr, Kiki’s writing centers queer girls and women who experience complex emotional lives from wanting things they fear they’ll ruin. Don’t worry, though, you’ll also be busting a gut from the deprecating and raunchy humor she weaves into her work. She is not a musical theatre gay and her love language is unrequited.
Kiki’s literary debut will be featured in the upcoming YA Anthology, ALL SIGNS POINT TO YES, publishing in 2022 from Inkyard Press.
While novels are her first love, Kiki is simultaneously pursuing a career in screenwriting for half-hour comedies. Her half-hour dramedy, “Dating India” was a semi-quarter finalist in The Finish Line Script Competition 2020 and she’s currently developing a half-hour horror comedy influenced by her favorite childhood movies, “Scream” and “13 Ghosts.”
