Ashley Reed

Ashley Reed is an author and video game writer who is probably currently overheating. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, she has since migrated to Los Angeles, where she can be found nesting in one of the few neighborhoods with sufficient shade for a bog creature. She has spent over a decade in the video game industry as a journalist, writer, speaker and, most recently, narrative lead.

An avid reader, eater, and gamer, she has been known to kidnap strangers and loved ones to soliloquize about such varied topics as Final Fantasy symbolism, the history of mead, and the temperaments of manta rays. She pours all this excitement into her work, where she writes about fantastic worlds full of people and creatures hunting for mundane treasures. When she’s pried away from her computer, she loves roller skating, hiking, regretting hiking, and eating oysters on the beach.
