Danika Bloom’s debut women’s fiction, Mother Teresa’s Advice for Jilted Lovers, won the 2015 Chatelaine award and in 2016 was a nominee for the Whistler Independent Book Awards. In 2020, she left a 25-year career as a ghost-writer for socially progressive nonprofits to pursue writing character-driven novels full-time.
