G. V. Candido-Beecher is an avid reader, obsessive writer, illustrator, designer, coder, and Dungeons & Dragons enthusiast. She’s been dreaming of writing Voldemort: The Definitive Study since she was a 13-year-old zoning out in math class. In 2020, she became a co-host of the Alohomora! podcast, which paved the way to making the book of her dreams a reality. She lives with her magical husband, her rambunctious son, and a black cat named Merlin. She loves long walks in the woods, collecting tarot decks, and devouring peanut butter straight from the jar like an animal.
