Heather Hiestand/Heather Redmond

Heather Hiestand is the author of many novels as well as novellas and short stories. She has written in a number of genres of commercial fiction, with a special interest in the period 1800-1930, though she writes contemporary as well. Her Redcakes and Grand Russe Hotel romance series are standouts.

Heather also writes historical and contemporary cozy mysteries under the pseudonym Heather Redmond, as well as the popular the Dickens of a Crime series, starring a young Charles Dickens as a sleuth in London, and the Mary Shelley Mysteries series, beginning with Death and the Sisters. Her Journaled mysteries star a barista and journaling influencer from Seattle.

She lives in Washington State with her husband and son.
