Yosha Gunasekera

Yosha Gunasekera is a first-generation Sri Lankan American and a lawyer for the Innocence Project, a nonprofit organization that seeks to free people who have been wrongfully convicted. Previously, she was a Manhattan public defender for nearly six years. Gunasekera has  published articles in Marie Claire, Huffington Post, Teen Vogue and more, and has appeared as an on-air legal analyst on BBC, HLN, and Fox.
