Agent Laurie McLean today announced the sale of the first book under the agency’s new name: Fuse Literary.

Laurie sold husband-and-wife clients Tee Morris & Pip Ballantine’s THE AUTHOR’S GUIDE TO SOCIAL MEDIA to Cris Freese at Writers Digest Books (part of F+W Media) for a nice advance. The book is slated to debut in Fall 2015.
Tee is a steampunk and fantasy author and the Digital Content Specialist (aka social media director) at Stratford University. He’s been a pioneer in social media since the beginning. Philippa “Pip” Ballantine is a well-known award-winning fantasy author who uses social media like a ninja to promote her books and her brand. Together they are going to give authors a fantastic amount of specific social media tips and techniques. Their second business, the One Stop Writer Shop, will also blog about new social media developments.
