Tara Weikum at HarperAlley has acquired North American rights to Judge Kim and the Kids’ Court co-author Joseph P. Illidge’s graphic novel adaptation of Ann Petry’s award-winning biography Harriet Tubman: Conductor on the Underground Railroad, illustrated by Eisner Award-winning and ALA-honored illustrator of The Black Panther Party: A Graphic Novel History Marcus Kwame Anderson. Publication is set for Winter 2026. Gordon Warnock represented the author, Alex Glass at Glass Literary Management represented the illustrator, and Jesseca Salky at Salky Literary Management represented the estate.
