Karen Knotts Inks Deal for Tied Up In Knotts

Actress, comedienne, and daughter of the late Hollywood icon Don Knotts, Karen Knotts signed with Chicago Review Press to publish her debut memoir, TIED UP IN KNOTTS in the fall of 2021. Based on her one-woman show of the same name, the book pulls back the curtain on the enigmatic star through the eyes of his daughter and confidant, who grew up on the set of The Andy Griffith Show and acted with him on stage and screen. Karen also weaves in memories of celebrities touched by Don’s life, including Ron Howard, Tim Conway, Andy Griffith, Joyce DeWitt, Beau Bridges, Katt Williams, John Waters, Seth Green, Brad Paisley, and Jim Carrey. Audiobook rights sold to Tantor at auction with Karen narrating. Gordon Warnock brokered the deal for North American English rights.
