We’re thrilled to announce that Callie B. Dean has signed as a client of Karly Dizon at Fuse Literary.
Callie B. Dean is a writer, musician, and program evaluator living in Shreveport, LA. The former director of CYBER.ORG, she has more than a decade of experience leading educational programs for children and youth. She has written STEM curriculum materials for the Girl Scouts of the USA and Palo Alto Networks, among others.
Callie plays violin in the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra and other local ensembles. She first began writing picture books after founding a “musical storytime” program called Sym-Phonics, which combines picture books with live musical accompaniment to introduce the instruments of the orchestra. She loves immersing herself in the research process and creating stories that spark curiosity and encourage kids to explore their world.
