Erica writes compelling upmarket mystery with richly drawn characters and vivid settings, and has written essays and poetry. Her most recent novel, Famous in Cedarville, earned a starred review from Publishers Weekly. Her essay collection, Snake (Bloomsbury, 2020), was one of LitReactor’s Best Books of the Year.
Erica was the senior poetry editor at Guernica Magazine for more than a decade. Currently, she teaches at Bellevue University and lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with her family.
